Lincoln Energy from Waste

This EfW facility in Lincoln for WRG (now FCC) & Lincolnshire County Council is designed for a throughput of 150,000 tonnes of residual waste p.a, producing 16.4MW of electricity each year.
When fully operational there will be 204 vehicle movements through the site in a day. This will include; staff and visitors ( a 50 space car park is provided) plus waste in and materials out.
The process areas include:- Tipping Hall, Shredders, Waste Bunkers, Boiler hall, FGT &Turbine Hall, Bottom Ash, Electrical rooms, water treatment, labs, workshops, ACC’s etc . Staff and visitor accommodation includes a 500msq Control room, 60 cover Canteen, Meeting rooms, Boardroom, Staff showers and lockers etc, There is a 230msq Visitor Centre to promote an understanding of power regeneration, renewable fuels, waste management and their inter relationships.
